Velvet Brand Dresses

We love Velvet by Graham and Spencer and one of our must have recommendations to start out the new year is this amazing Chapel dress by Velvet.  Part of Velvet brand’s Spanish Tile collection, this rayon blend dress is ultra comfortable.  A truly versatile piece that looks hot with your black boots in the winter and perfect with your open toed shoes in the summer.

This Velvet brand dress has elbow length sleeves and features a v neck with a knot at the base of the v giving it an added element of “fringe.”  We love the pattern too as it isn’t overbearing and instead is bold enough to get noticed, but not over the top making it too much of a fad.  This dress by Velvet by Graham and Spencer will certainly be one that can be part of your wardrobe for multiple seasons.  In terms of length, it hits just at or below the knee depending on your body type.  Shown here in black this dress is also available at Vintage Fringe in red.

Awake Couture Masha Dyans Burnout Tops

The Masha Dyans burnout tees part of Awake Couture’s Exclusive Artist Collection were just marked down at Vintage Fringe.  If you’re like us, you may not spend too much time shopping for holiday only attire, but we think you will find these tops to be the exception to that rule. You are sure to love the burnout tee fabric as well as the fabulous patterns on both of these tops.  We love the rhinestone accents as well.

The first featured top is Masha Dyan’s Santa pattern featuring Santa’s with Christmas Trees or Ornaments.  This short sleeve top would be adorable over a green or red long sleeve tee.  The Santa’s are subtle and this top is seriously too cute to miss not to mention that we love the burnout fabric.

Available in white with the red and green contrast in the pattern this top is absolutely fabulous.

The next Masha Dyans burnout top shown below is a winter favorite featuring a blue and white burnout fabric with an adorable girl with a green turtleneck and red and white striped stockings.  This top isn’t technically a holiday top and can certainly be worn in the winter as well.  Also featuring rhinestone accents, this top is long actually hitting mid-thigh depending on your body type.

This loose boatneck top features crinkly sleeves and a similar print on the back.  This would be so cute with leggings!

Winter Must Haves – Jackets by Zooey Clothing

Zooey Clothing has so many different designer clothing styles to love, but today we’re focused on their fabulous jackets.  With cold weather in full swing, having the perfect hip, stylish designer jacket is practically a necessity!  What we love about these jackets is their unique twist on the typical hum drum standard jacket style.

Alice Heller at Zooey has made sure to design jackets that have stylish twists to the traditional jacket style.  By way of illustration, check out the Heavy Fleece Hooded Jacket featuring flared sleeves and collar.   We also love the hood.  The best part is that the hood is somewhat subtle, so it isn’t over the top, but it fits with the overall stylish design of the jacket.  You can’t forget the buttons either.  With buttons on the cuffs as well, Zooey made sure that no details were forgotten with this awesome jacket.  And last, but certainly not least, the fabrics.

Zooey Clothing always focuses on using soft, comfortable, easy to wear clothing and their jackets are no exception.  Zooey used a great heavy cotton that truly gets softer after every wash and yes, it is machine washable.  Available in both Black and Pilgrim (Smokey Purple), this jacket is the perfect addition to your winter jacket collection.
