Spotlight on Ella Moss

Wednesday, September 15th, 2010

Ella Moss is the perfect brand for fall fashion, the fabrics are always comfortable with style that is perfect for every day and for every night. The Costa Puff Sleeve V Neck by Ella Moss is the perfect dark gray color for fall, and a great background for all different colors of accessories. I would especially love it with dark jeans, a big teal necklace, and some fabulous gray nail polish that is so hot right now.

I love the versatility of the Blaire Puffsleeve Scoop Neck Top by Ella Moss. As you can see it is perfect for young and not so young alike! {Of course don’t tell your daughter this unless you buy her her own!} The cut outs are placed perfectly for a bit of sexy, but not too much which makes this top ideal for day, office, or even evening.

Fall Fashion: Spotlight on Booties

Monday, September 13th, 2010

With fall fashion, comes fall shoes and most importantly boots! The cutest, little boots of all being booties. I love booties because they are great with skinny jeans, leggings, tights, shorts, skirts,  you name it and just about every time a bootie will not only look great, but add some serious fashion. I love how more and more websites are making separate pages for boots and booties, which leads me to think that this is one trend that will be around for awhile. The vintage cowboy look is a big one for fall and small versions of cowboy boots have been everywhere. I like this Tessii bootie by Steve Madden, the three inch heel make it totally doable for all day wear and the basic, not over the top cowboy styling is perfect.

I also really like the peep toe booties, they can transition easily from warm to cool weather with tights and socks. {Or if you are like me and live in so cal, you can do peep toe year round!} Not only is the shade of this suede perfect for fall, the cuff detail and platform all help make this E-More Suede Bootie by Elizabeth and James just right.

And lastly, if you are looking for an updated classic style, look no further then the Cole Haan Stephanie Air Bootie. This is the perfect, elongating your leg, everyday bootie. The zipper detail on the back adds a bit of flair, but not too much and if you have never tried on a Cole Haan ‘air’ show before,  do it! They are so comfortable, mainly because he uses Nike Air technology, genius right??

If you haven’t tried booties before, the fall is the season to do it! They will go perfectly with all your new fall fashion!

Relaxed Fall Styles

Friday, September 3rd, 2010

September fashion is a bridge from the light weight and loose clothes of summer to the structured heavy weights of fall and I for one am having a hard time coping with the fact that it is indeed September and summer is ending. To help me{and you!} feel better about the situation, I have found some truly beautiful pieces that are a little bit summer and a little bit fall. Which makes them perfect for right now!

First is this lovely feminine Solna Sleeveless Top by Velvet by Graham and Spencer. I am loving the neckline, the super soft and drapey material and this perfect for all gray/purple color. The detail really draws the eyes up to your face, and highlights the collarbone.

These are perfect early fall colors and the flattering loose cut is great with leggings, shorts, or jeans. Go out and enjoy what last few moments of summer you can, but don’t forget to arm yourself with fall fashion from Vintage Fringe !
