This Wednesday Irish or not so Irish it’s probably in your best interest to wear green. I am still trying to decide just how festive I want to look for a St. Patty’s day party this weekend. Just in case anyone else is still trying to pick your outfit out. Below are some of my favorites to choose from.
Laurie B. Emmy Cardigan Sweater in Kelly Green
This Cardigan Sweater is designed by Laurie B. and is the sweater I receive the most compliments on. I love how it snaps at the neck and then slits open for a cardigan feel. The pocket detail and long length makes this sweater so comfortable and easy to wear. I always pair this sweater with the Zooey long sleeve crew neck in white. Considering this sweater is now in the outlet- it’s a steal of a deal. Maybe the luck of the Irish.
The other shirt I am considering for St. Patrick’s day is this Victoria Front Tie Top designed by Ella Moss.

There are so many details I love about this top. First I love the ruffles at the neck line and the cuffs. This flirty top is made of Ella Moss’s modal fabric which is super durable and the ultimate in comfort.

Being fashionable is a full time job, and rain, snow, and storms can not stand in your way. Normally I don’t have to deal with much weather, but even I have been subjected to some rather wet days{gasp! In San Diego??} as of late. So rather then let the gray skies bring us down, I say lets celebrate the opportunity to look oh so chic in jackets and boots! Every gal needs a pair of wellies, perfect for pulling over jeans or for the more brave, rocking with tall socks and skirts. They are comfortable, functional and of course available in all types of yummy colors and practically every price point. I love Hunter brand boots, and this pink fuchsia color is perfect for adding some cheer to a raining day.{or a sunny day for that matter!}

Ok, now that your feet are covered lets move onto the oh so important jacket. Trench coats are perfect for pulling together an outfit and giving coverage and warmth without adding bulk. These versatile jackets have been around for ages and are therefore available in just about every color, pattern and price point available. If you are wanting to try something a bit more trendy with the pattern, try this Merona Striped Long Trench which is right on with the nautical trend for spring. I love the cheery yellow and crisp white contrast, and it is a total steal!

I love to sport designer clothing and glamorous looks everyday. However, as a busy mom on the go I need to look fabulous in a hurry most mornings. For inspiration I have found many busy celebrity moms have turned to trendy jackets and fabulous hats to look fashionable even when they are on the go.

So here is my version. First, I always wear a trendy jacket with straight jeans and tall boots. As for the jacket, I love Zooey’s Bomber Jacket.

This jacket is so soft and comfortable it feels like a sweatshirt, but looks fitted and trendy and fashionable. I love the cropped look in back which gives it an added bit of flair. To keep with the military theme I wear a military style hat but with a different jacket you could wear a trucker or knit hat as well. Another great jacket example is Zooey’s version of the Pea coat, the Cropped Double Breasted Jacket. This jacket goes great with that military look.
With this look I can be ready in as little as 15 minutes and not be afraid to run into anyone I know as the grocery store or gas station. What about you, what is your favorite on the go look?

Designer Boatneck tops have a classic vintage look that I adore. Two great examples of the perfect boatneck top that also has a modern twist or fringe are the Daree top by Velvet and the Satin Trim Boatneck by Zooey.

By this time of year I am usually trying to shop for tops that I could probably still wear in winter but that will also work into spring. I love Velvet’s Daree Wide Sleeve Boatneck Top because this is exactly the kind of top that can do both. I wear this top in Green with a long sleeve white shirt underneath it in the Winter and come Spring I can wear it alone. My sister owns this top in the other color milk which is a beautiful ivory that looks great with a dark jean and brown boots. Part of Velvet’s Slinky Rayon collection, the fabric drapes your body perfectly. It is loose enough you can add a belt for a tunic look, but you can also wear it without a belt and it looks great too.

The Boatneck top with Satin Trim by Zooey is my ultimate night on the town top. This regal looking fabric is hemp with satin detail on the sleeve. We love the fitted look at the waist and the satin contrast on the sleeves. The hemp fabric has an amazing softness and durability and even though it may not look like it this top is machine washable. Zooey Turtleneck and Velvet Lucca Top
Another essential fall fashion this season is the turtleneck. In terms of necklines the turtleneck is one of my favorites. First of all, turtlenecks are universally flattering because they elongate your neck and place the focus onto your face. I also love how extremely versatile turtlenecks are. Wear a turtleneck with a suit, with a vest, with a skirt, with pants, or your favorite pair of jeans. Wear a chunky necklace or wear your favorite scarf, with a turtleneck almost anything goes. Zooey Bomber Jacket

We’re always on the look out for fabulous fashion trends in women’s clothing and this season one such trend is ruffles. We love the feminine touch and particularly love the use of ruffles in the Ruffle Bib Top by Zooey Clothing. The ruffle bib top features a series of 4 columns of ruffles around the “bib” area of the top. The top features a 4 button Henley collar in the middle of the ruffle columns.

Like most of Zooey’s tops, the Ruffle Bib Top is made of supima cotton so it is ultra soft and we love this top not just because of the feminine style touch with the ruffles, but also because of the versatility. It is great with jeans, but we also love to rock it with a cute skirt and boots. The sleeves are 3/4 sleeves so it is also great practically year round as well! It’s machine washable and super comfortable. The waist flares out a bit so it is best to wear it loose. It is also long–another fashion trend that we love. Zooey by Alice Heller has done it again! She has designed a fabulous top that we think will be a must have for all fashionistas this holiday season. We’re referring to the black satin trim cardigan top that is so versatile.
