Ella Moss Favorites

Picking just one Ella Moss favorite for us is like picking your favorite pair of shoes.  It’s too hard to name just one!  Lately though, we’ve fallen in love with the Hampton Hoodie from designer Ella Moss.  What is it that makes it a favorite for us?  Well for starters the fabric.  It features that great Supima cotton / Modal mix which makes it ultra soft and luxurious.  We always look for luxurious fabrics when scouring designer clothing, and Ella Moss routinely has such fabulous fabrics.

We also love the feminine details or  “fringe” on this top too.  From top to bottom this Ella Moss top is loaded with feminine accents with the contrasting cotton around the collar and the shoulders, the rolled up sleeves complete with the button and cotton loop to hold the rolled up sleeve in place, and of course we can’t forget the gathered sides at the bottom of the top to name a few.

All of these details make your basic hoodie into a super hip and feminine top.   We also love this top because it is so versatile.  It is perfect to throw over that short sleeve top or tank during warmer weather and also a great top for fall when things start to cool down.  We wear this top all the time as it is just perfect to throw on with your favorite pair of jeans.  We love this top as shown in Emerald Green.    So many of these lovable details are true for so many Ella Moss dresses and tops.   This is just one of our latest Ella Moss favorites.  What’s yours?

Ella Moss Clothing

Ella Moss Clothing may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you are bargain shopping these days.  However, a great way to get more for your money this year and still get quality designer clothing is to buy a top you can wear anywhere and with anything.  Versatile tops that can be worn at the office, home on a Saturday, or at night on the town are a true asset to any girl’s wardrobe.

One of our favorite examples of this kind of versatility is the Blaire Puffsleeve Scoopneck Top by Ella Moss. Consistent with all Ella Moss tops, this top has all that Ella Moss clothing is famous for, being both high quality and super stylish, but best of all this top is so versatile you will really get the most out of your money.  Available in Candy Apple (Red) or Admiral (Navy) this elegant scoopneck top with the added cut out trim at the shoulders looks great with jeans, a skirt, or capri pants.  We love the white trim around the collar and cuffs giving it that added bit of “fringe.”  Plus remember when you buy Ella Moss online at Vintage Fringe you will also save with FREE SHIPPING and Reward Points that can be used for future purchases!

Ella Moss Clothing Sonia Top

Monday, March 16th, 2009

Ella Moss Clothing is always fashion forward, but last night it was also popular enough to be worn by Teri Hatcher in the March 15th episode of Desperate Housewives titled “The Story of Lucy and Jessie.”  We can’t stop raving about Ella Moss’ Sonia Ruffle Sleeve Studded Short Sleeve Top because of the unique look.  As you can see in the clip from the March 15 episode of Desperate Housewives, Teri wears this top to work with jeans proving once again that Ella Moss is that perfect blend of casual and sophisticated at the same time.

We love the metal detailing at the shoulder and cascading down the v neck in the back of the top.  We also love the loose scoop in the front!  Available at Vintage Fringe in black and grey this top is short sleeved with a flared or lightly ruffled sleeve.  These great details are not at all uncommon in Ella Moss clothing as Ella Moss consistently produces tops that are feminine, classy and sexy at the same time.  This Sonia Ruffle Sleeve Studded Short Sleeve top is certainly no exception!

Ella Moss Originals

Ella Moss is certainly on most people’s list of favorite designers!  We love many of their tops and wanted to highlight one of our best sellers.  The Skye Button Sleeve Scoop Neck top features a grey diagonal stripe on the white top or a black stripe on the slate grey fabric.

The stripe has a bit of a metallic shimmer to it.  The scoop neck is loose giving it a sultry look.  Of course we can’t forget the adorable buttons on the cuffs of the sleeves.  With a banded waist , this top is fitted, but not clingy–another perk.

We love it for all of these reasons, but mostly because it is certainly an original top that is sure to be a welcome addition to your wardrobe.  In the current economy, this top is perfect because it can be worn easily through Fall, Winter and Spring.

When it comes to designer women’s clothing, we love the look of Ella Moss and think that this top typifies one of the fashion trends in 2009 with the metallic shimmer strip.  It is totally in right now and with the cut and style of this top it exudes the perfect balance of distinction and sophistication.
